How wide should a LEGO City road be?

LEGO roads have changed over the years and when LEGO retired the old 32×32 road plates and changed to the chunky plastic ones, it was a blessing and a curse. A blessing because they give more flexibility in the road structure and means you can place building right next to it. A curse because they’re too small for some sets. LEGO City Update: a curved Train Tunnel!

In this LEGO City update, I’m going to focus on building the train tunnels just before the Train Station I showed in the last video. My goal was to give myself more space to add scenery, but also to make something a lot more interesting than just the usual straight train tunnel that’s easy to build. Hint: This was not an easy LEGO build and required some techniques I haven’t done before!

Following on from my LEGO Room update, I’ve been working on laying tracks into Studsburg. I’ve now completed one of the loops added the cargo depot sidings and tried one of the awesome @TrixBrix Double Crossover pieces – it’s awesome! Come see the LEGO Trains start to roll again!
